Welcome to the library.
Set in the heart of south-central El Paso and part of the
El Paso Independent School District,
Silva Magnet High School for Health Care Professions is El Paso's first exemplary high school offering a full
curriculum emphasizing health care issues.
The high school's library is an integrated library offering access to information
across the curriculum.
Silva was built and designed to be a "school-within-a-school", and is part of the Jefferson High School complex.

WHAT THE LIBRARY OFFERS:
1) Internet access via the Rio Grande Free-Net
2) Three cd-rom databases:
(SIRS, EBSCO, and INFOTRAC Health Reference Center Academic)
3) Full interlibrary loan with schools across EPISD
4) Book and video access through Scholar Online (card) Catalog
and much more.
