Kindred: The Embraced
Kindred: The Embraced appeared on television in 1996. The show was based on the role playing game Vampire: The Masquerade, by White Wolf. Although not in their original condition, it brought forth the Clans Brujah, Gangrel, Nosferatu, Toreador, Ventru, and Assamite. (Example of the difference: many consider the Gangrel to be WW Brujah and the Brujah to be a cross between WW Brujah and Ventru) Perhaps if the show had lasted more then one season we would have seen other clans as well.
Julian Luna: Prince of Sanfransisco, Julian led the Kindred through the assistance of his mentor and sire, Archon Raine. He soon finds that being Prince sometimes means giving things up, even love.
Lillie Langtry: Primagin of the Clan Toreador, Lilly is the owner of a hot Sanfransisco night club, The Haven, in which many Kindred hang out. Her on- again, off-again relationship with Julian keeps her in control of the Prince.
Cash: As Gangrel Primagin, Cash is often at the Prince's side. All the more perfect a place to be close to Sasha, Julian's great-granddaughter and his love.
Sasha: Embraced against her will, Sasha was turned against her family, Julian, and her love, Csh. Her new found Brujah tendencies drove her to a life she would have never thought of.
Archon Raine: He sired Julian Luna and later gave him his seat of Prince. Now, he stands at Julian's side, voicing his disagreements with the "new ways" whenever needed.
Sonny Toussiant: Sonny is a spy for the Kindred in more the one way. His work as a homacide detective for the Sanfransisco Police Department keeps him close to the crime in the city and his work with Eddie Fiori keeps him close to the crime in the Kindred.
Daedalus: Transformed into one of the hideous Nosferatu, Daedalus spends most of his time in Kindred teritory. He sits in waiting as Julian's advisor and friend.
