My TKD Career and Short Story

How I started in Tae Kwon Do? Well, here goes... I started Tae Kwon Do when I was in Fourth Grade, after my bully and 11 of my former classmates beat the living daylights out of me, for not giving them my ball. I got home with bruises from head to chest and back. I had bully problems since I was in first grade and never did anything about it because I hated violence and all I asked was to be left alone. If you wanted to be my friend, excelent, if not, hey tuff luck. After my father saw me in that condition, he simply told me I was going to learn how to fight, like it or not. My father, being a former comando, tried to teach me how to fight. That didn't work, I couldn't undderstand his method of teaching. Then there was my cousin, a bodybuilder and an advanced karate student. Didn't work either. Finally, my parents found this Tae Kwon Do school where we lived. I started taking some classes and little by little, I got rid of my bully problem. Although I could defend myself, my parents and I knew that I would have to deal with them for the rest of my school years, so I moved to another school. I was in a better place at my other school, where I met my clique, we called ourselves "The Group." I stayed at my other school until the first semester of my freshman year of High School. With the move, I had to quit Tae Kwon Do in Puerto Rico. When I moved to the U.S; The state that I moved to (like I'm going to tell you where I'm at) the first town had no Tae Kwon Do, causing me to be out of practice for a year and a half. Another move was bound to happen and I ended up in a farm town. In this place, there was a Tae Kown Do school and so I joined immediately. Since then, I stuck to it and became a black belt instructor. I'm quite strict when it comes to showing a technique, because I don't want them to go through the bully problems like I did. I add some humor when I teach, but in general, it's hardcore training and sweat until you drop. I love Miller's Tae Kwon Do and self defense, where I got the best training, ever!!!!
