Hi my name is Bill
Hocutt. I am researching the family tree of the HOCUTT, LUNSFORD,
DODSON and MOORE families of North East Texas.
Let me tell you a
little about myself. I was born in Arlington Texas during Oct of
1959. I grew up in the Dallas area, although I spent alot of summers
in Phoenix Arizona. I graduated from Skyline High School in Feb of
1977. Attended 3 semesters at Eastfield Community College before
joining the Air Force. Went on active duty during Jan of 1978, during
my 8 years in the USAF I was stationed in Arizona (Davis Montham
AFB), Okinawa Japan (Kadena AB), HQ ESC San Antonio Texas, Korea
(Osan AB), HQ DIA Pentagon Washington DC and Bolling AFB in
Washington DC. I received an Honorable Discharge in 1986 and came
home to East Texas. In Aug of 86 I married the Love of my Life,
Darlene Lunsford (the good looking lady beside me in the photo). We
bounced around a few years before settling in Celeste Texas, where we
have lived for the last five years.
I am active in the
Celeste Youth Sports Authority, A Host in the AOL Genealogy Forum and
write short stories in my spare time.
My wife is Darlene
Lunsford Hocutt she was born in April of 1967. She grew up in Grand
Saline Texas and graduated from Grand Saline High School. She played
in the band there during high school. She is the Girl Scout Troop
Leader for Junior Troop 2399 of Celeste.
She has been the leader
of the troop for 5 years. The Troop won the "Best Float" for 4
straight years in the Celeste Christmas Parade.
