Subject: Bill Fullingim's Obituary Date: Wed, 5 Sep 2001 08:54:12 -0500 FULLINGIM WILLIAM E. "BILL", long time Dallas attorney, passed away September 2, 2001. He was born November 2, 1936 in Galveston, Texas and spent his childhood in Washington D.C. and Odessa, Texas. He received his Bachelor's degree in 1959 and his Doctorate in Jurisprudence in 1966, both from the University of Texas. He was proud of his service in the United States Army as an officer stationed in France from 1959-1962. Bill was an active and devoted member of Phi Gamma Delta, the Sons of Confederate Veterans, the Longhorn Association, the Freemasons, and the Sons of the American Revolution. He also belonged to the Dallas Bar Association and Texas Bar Association. A lover of art, music, and history, Bill was always eager to recount tales of his Fullingim ancestry. You left us too soon and your family and friends will miss your enormous enthusiasm in sharing your many passions. Preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Lucy Glee Hooper Fullingim, he is survived by two daughters, Sophie Trahan and her husband Lonny, and Diane Fullingim; a sister, Patricia Handy; nephew, Jonathan Handy; niece, Glee Wilson; and his dear friend Patricia Parker. Funeral services will be at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 5th in the Main Sanctuary of Highland Park United Methodist Church. Rev. Bill Stephenson will officiate.
