Greetings and welcome to New Harbor's home page! It is our hope that here you will not only find out details about our park, but also enjoy the music, pictures, and a little bit of information about Texas, Zapata, and even Mexico.
Why are we doing this? Well, it's sort of our un-official park motto: "We do more for you!" Sure, we could be just like all the other parks...and smack up a page telling you about our park only,...but how is that helpful when trying to decide where to stay? Wouldn't it be better to come visit someone who knows the area, has the information, and is willing to answer questions? And maybe even has a sense of humor?
Well, that is what our park is all about! The resident managers, Jon & Linda Sagester, have lived in the Zapata area for quite a bit - and know the area and people well. They don't treat you like customers, but as new friends. They live in Zapata because they enjoy living there, and they would love for you to get to know the beauty and relaxation of New Harbor.
If you are thinking of coming to Zapata, think of New Harbor! It is a relatively small, well-tended park, where you won't get lost in the crowds. Where you won't feel like a stranger. It's quiet, it's peaceful, it's the perfect place to relax after your day's activities of sight-seeing, fishing, shopping, and/or touring near-by Mexico.
