The following members of QuiltArt participated in a 70's Quilt Challenge. The challenge was to create a quilt that reflects some aspect of the 70's Decade. Each person chooses a letter from the alphabet and builds their quilt theme around that letter....such as W for Watergate, Z for Frank Zappa, O for One Less Egg to Fry by the Fifth Dimension, etc. Not everyone was able to complete their quilts in time due to time constraints or other interruptions but the ones that did are here for your viewing pleasure and judging.
JUDGING We asked both the general viewing audience and members of QuiltArt to vote for their favorite quilts. Votes were tallied in this manner:
Overall Votes - The quilt with the highest totals from both the general viewers and the QuiltArt viewers.
General Viewers: The quilt with the highest totals.
QuiltArt Viewers: The quilt with the highest totals. It will be interesting to compare this with the QuiltArt vote.
Awards There will be a 1st Place, 2nd Place and 3rd Place in each category: Overall, General Viewer's and QuiltArtists.
