here i am sitting in my blue silk robe, listening to the radio and obviously skipping first period. our alarm clock didn't go off again and i woke up seventeen minutes before the bell was to ring. mom let me stay home during first so i can take a shower and get my shit together cause we were in such a rush. plus she doesn't like the idea that i'll be getting lunch detention for a stupid tardy. my mom is so cool.

i was thinking earlier that i feel good about myself and about my school year. there hasn't been a day when i've not wanted to go to school either because of someone i'll see, a class i have, or anything else. that makes me feel good. i think it'll go like this the rest of the year.

i called cory right before i walked out the door to wake him up. he has to fix his schedule at the school today.
