David M. Rushton (autobiography continued)

It would be unfair, if not arrogant, to claim any accomplishment without giving credit where credit belongs. I thank my family and certainly my faith for all that I have. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. There is no doubt in my mind that divine intervention has been a constant and consistent part of my life. I know God, Our Eternal Heavenly Father knows who I am.

Though my faith is personal, I believe in an old Hindu saying "All that is not given is lost." Consequently, I will share my faith with anyone willing to listen. Simply put, I know The Book of Mormon is true and I challenge everyone to read it and know as I do that it is indeed scripture. Perhaps the greatest promise we have been given is that our prayers can be answered. If you really want to know then get a free The Book of Mormon by clicking on the yellow "The Book of Mormon" writing. I promise you won't regret it!

Jennifer and I were married, or as members of the LDS faith say, sealed in the Dallas Temple(above picture). We believe that marriage is to last not only in this life but in the life to come. We also believe that families are forever. In the temple we make covenants or promises to live a Christian life and take care of each other. We consider temple marriage one of the greatest goals and blessings the gospel of Jesus Christ has given us.

Well, obviously this isn't all there is(and I'll probably add more), but it's a start. Hope you enjoyed it. Take a look at my favorite hobbies if you wish! Feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions about my faith. Thanks!
