EDAW 2003
Back to New Hampshire...
In 2001 H2M was a part of the New Hampshire Technical Institute's body image awareness programming for February. Thanks to the success of those performances, more bookings were made for this year. This time it was for 3 schools in NH: New Hampshire Community Technical College, Plymouth State College and Southern New Hampshire University. These three shows proved to be just as successful.
Here are just some of the comments from students who attended the SNHU performance on February 26.
"What an incredible way to show the life of an eating disorder. I thought it was a great program."
"Very, very good presentation! Kept my attention the whole time! Very informative."
"Energetic, hilarious, informational, great performance. Terrific job."
"Very energetic, informative, very dramatic, funny. I learned a lot from her today."
"I have never seen anything like this before and it was amazing, She was incredible, extremely talented and inspirational. I never knew so much about eating disorders before and she really put it into perspective."
"She’s very brave to go up on stage and admit her problem. Excellent show. Congratulations on beating it!"
"This was a great performance and was really in-depth and insightful. I really enjoyed it, and it’s no wonder kids at Notre Dame College raved about it!"
"I am really happy that the school did something for EDAW. It really is an epidemic in American and knowledge is the only way to stop it."
"Good job climbing up on the prop-box and not on a soap-box. Your presentation did not blame anyone."
"I thought Lisa’s performance was an eye wakening experience because it made me realize how serious eating disorders. I know a few people who have been through one and I know the turmoil they went through."
"She is a very talented speaker, and sent out a good valuable message."
"She was excellent, her performance kept me involved and attentive. She puts it in terms we can all understand."
"Very informative in a different way. It’s better to see something and someone who has lived through it rather than just reading pamphlets."
Thanks to all three schools for bringing H2M back to this gorgeous part of the US.
