Definitly one of the best sci-fi movies made in years. In Pitch Black our boy Vin plays the convicted homicidal Richard B. Riddick. Stranded on a vast, sun-dried planet in a tri-sun solar system, Riddick is forced to survive with a group of those who would condemn him. Unfortunatly, the tri-suns mean perpetual daylight which is quite a hinderance for Riddick, whose eyes have been surgically altered so that he can see in the dark. But then the eclipse begins, the light goes out, and unspeakable horrors come out to play. Now, the group must rely on Riddick to survive the photophobic creatures.
For many people, this was the movie in which Vin really caught their eye. And we can tell why. Vin portrays a remarkable presence throughout the movie and totally steals the show.
