The enthronement of the Sacred Heart is a common practice in this Catholic world. The image of the Sacred Heart exposed and honored is a continual sermon, mute that it be; it is an unceasing invitation to draw us near to Christ, our savior. It is honored because it brings to mind the thought of Christ, Divine Son of Mary and all He has done and promise to do for us.
Have you a picture or image no matter how small, in your home; is it in a place so that it will remind you of the Sacred Heart? It is HONORED?
Do you try to spread the this practice among your friends and acquaintances?
Say to the Sacred Heart:
I give myself and
consecrate to the Sacred Heart of our Lord Jesus Christ,
my person and my life, my actions, pains and sufferings, so that
I may be unwilling to make use of any part of my
being other than to honor, love and glorify the
Sacred Heart This I pray to our
Lord Jesus Christ. Amen

Probably no other promise has brought more lusters to the First Friday devotion than to know, that not only in life, but also especially in the brink of eternity will the Sacred Heart watch over and protect you.
