Pre-British Invasion

   These are all from the 50s and 60s until '64, when British rock became so popular, and changed rock style forever. For you youngsters who don't know, The Beatles were the first with their hit "I Wanna Hold Your Hand", in the summer of '63, but it was several months before the "invasion" overwhelmed American music. Don't get me wrong. I love the sound many of those bands brought to our shores, but this is what I grew up with, and it will always be dear to my heart.

I have added an autostart to each of these, which is a lot of extra work, as my fevered brow will attest. This should shorten the loading time. Also, some of these were recorded at a loud level (not my fault!) so keep your volumn control close by.
