CLASSIFICATION :
I. SHORT
VISIT ENTRY PASS
- SHORT VISIT ENTRY PASS
IT IS DESIGNED TO EASE THE PROCEDURE OF ENTRY AND
DEPARTURE OF TOURISTS IN INDONESIA.
REQUIREMENTS :

- TOURISTS TO INDONESIA WHO POSSES
CITIZENSHIP OF THE EXCEMPTED COUNTRIES AS LISTED BELOW, ARE NOT REQUIRED TO APPLY
FOR A TOURIST VISA.
A SHORT VISIT ENTRY PASS WILL BE GRANTED TO THEM UPON ARRIVAL.
THIS WILL PERMIT THEM TO STAY IN INDONESIA FOR A MAXIMUM OF 60 [SIXTY] DAYS.
THE SHORT VISIT ENTRY PASS IS NEITHER EXTENDABLE, TRANSFERABLE NOR CONVERTIBLE.

MUST ENTER THROUGH ONE OF THE "DESIGNATED AIRPORTS, SEAPORTS, AND LANDBORDER"

II. TOURIST VISA :
ANY TOURIST VISITING INDONESIA WHO ARE NOT CITIZENS OF THE EXCEMPTED COUNTRIES
ARE REQUIRED TO APPLY FOR A TOURIST VISA PRIOR TO ENTER INDONESIA.
REQUIREMENTS:
- An application form along with 1 [one]
recent passport size photograph.
- A passport valid for 6 [six] months beyond
the intended length of stay.
- A return ticket, or outgoing flight ticket.
- International Certificate of Yellow Fever
Vaccination is required for those who is
coming from / stopping over an infected area. The certificate must be presented
to the Immigration Officers at the Port of Entry.
III. VISA
ON ARRIVAL
- A VISA ON ARRIVAL WILL BE GRANTED TO
VISITORS WHO ARE CITIZENS OF THE EXCEMPTED COUNTRIES WITH THE FOLLOWING
INTENTIONS :
- a. Visiting
Indonesia merely for touristic purposes,
- b. An Official
visit, such as holding talks for the purposes of co-operation
between the Indonesian Government and a Foreign
Government, foreign company
or International organization or
attending an official international conference in
-
Indonesia.
c. Working in an Indonesian or foreign vessel operating within
Indonesian
archipelago, or territorial sea, or construction
works at installations within
the Indonesian Exclusive Economic Zone of Continental
Shelf.

- A passport valid for at
least 6 [six] months beyond the intended length of stay.
- Possessing a Return or On-Going
Tickets. To those who do not have one,
must purchase at the Local Port of Entry.
- A proof of sufficient funds
at least US$ 1,000.00 in Cash, Travellers Cheques,
or a valid major Credit Card.
IV. SINGLE
ENTRY VISA FOR BUSINESS / SOCIAL
- Granted strictly for the purpose of
either a Business, Social or Cultural Visit.
The Single Entry Business Visa is valid if presented within 3 [three] months
after the date of issuance, and the maximum length of stay is 60 [sixty] days.
- A Single Entry Visa may also be
granted for extension in Indonesia under consideration from the Directorate General of
Immigration in Jakarta
- REQUIREMENTS:
- An application form with 1 (one) passport
size photograph.
- A passport valid for 6[six] months beyond
the intended length of stay.
- A reference from sending and /or receiving
company in Indonesia,
visited family, or inviting organization.
- An International Certificate of Yellow Fever
Vaccination is required for those
coming from / stopping over an infected area must be presented at the
Port of Entry.
V. MULTIPLE-ENTRY
BUSINESS VISA
- Valid for several entries / journeys
for Business purposes within
12 [twelve] months and each visit not exceeding than 2 [two] months.
A Multiple Entry Visa is not extendable after the 12 (twelve) months period.
- A valid passport for 18 [eighteen] months
from the date of entry.
- The same requirements as of the Single Entry
Business Visa.
VI. TEMPORARY STAY VISA
- A Temporary Stay Visa is good for a
single entry if presented within
3 [three] months after the date of issuance and good for a maximum
stay of 1 [one] year. An application of extension can be requested in
Indonesia with a rational reason or purposes.
- A Temporary Stay Visa is granted,
strictly upon receiving the authorization
from the Directorate General of Immigration in Jakarta. To expedite the authorization
request, it is advisable to have a sponsor in Indonesia to also submit the
application directly to the Directorate General of Immigration in Jakarta.
- A temporary stay visa is solely
restricted to those applicants :
- Who will take up work assignments in
Indonesia.
- Who will take up missionary assignments in
Indonesia.
- Who have the intention of investing in
Indonesia.
- Who are attending a training programs or
courses, participating
a student exchange program or doing a scientific research.
- Who are spouse, children or family members
of the respective applicant.
- Who are spouse, children of family members
or dependents of the person
who has an Indonesian citizenship.
- Who are categorized as " Repatriation
" [returning to the country of origin].
- REQUIREMENTS:
- An application form with 1 [one] recent
passport size photograph.
- A passport valid for 18 [eighteen] months
from the date of issuance
of the visa.
- A Letter from the company
and a letter of sponsorship from
the agent in Indonesia.
- A Curriculum Vitae.
- A Certificate of Marriage.
- A Birth Certificate.
- A Health Certificate.
- A Letter of Good Conduct.
VII. TRANSIT VISA
- A transit visa is required for any
passenger who will make a transit
and want to leave beyond the immigration check point area for not more than
14 [fourteen] days.
Passengers are not required to obtain a transit visa as long as he or
she does not intend to leave the immigration check point area.
- An application form with 1 [one] recent
passport size photograph.
- A passport valid for 6 [six] months beyond
the intended length of stay.
- A return ticket, or outgoing flight ticket.

THAT FINAL ENTRY PERMISSION TO INDONESIAN
TERRITORY LIES AT THE DISCRETION OF THE IMMIGRATION OFFICER
AT THE PORT OF ENTRY.
2. PLEASE ALSO
NOTE THAT THE ISSUANCE OF VISAS ARE UNDER THE
CONSIDERATION AND AUTHORIZATION FROM THE DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF
IMMIGRATION IN JAKARTA. APPLICANTS ARE ADVISED TO SUBMIT
THEIR
APPLICATIONS IN A REASONABLE PERIOD BEFORE TIME OF DEPARTURE.
