Hi Im Allycatt! I joined ediets in June of 2000. I was just asked to be my best friends matron of honor for her wedding in March of 2001. I sort of freaked out knowing how I would look in a formal dress at 100+. I knew that if I just lost alittle weight I would be much happier when dress time came. So I dont know how I found ediets, I think maybe I was checking out weightloss sites and I must have seen a banner pop up. So after thinking of it for a day, I signed right up. The support and motivation is just wonderful. I feel so at home here.
A little about myself. I live in Michigan. Ive been married for 5 years and have one son. My Mother last year adopted my brothers 3 children. She works full time still so I told her I would work my job on the weekends only and help her with the kids. These kids have come along way. They were 4,3 and 2 years in age. They were growing up with an alcholic mother that all she wanted to do is party all the time. The court took them away from her, my brother had always given them money but she just spent it on drugs. If my mom didnt take them in, they would have been adopted out somewhere. So I guess here's to family!!
I like to scrapbook, and make baskets. Don't have much time to do that with 4 kids running around. Im very much involved with our counties 4-H club as my mom is the 4-H program assistant.
I'm sure I will be here at ediets for the long haul. As I'm very happy with the program and it's actually working. Ive lost 30 lbs. since June. My goal for this wedding was to loose only 25 lbs. so I guess I have met my first goal. I hope to put up a new photo of me in my bridesmaid dress.
