My name is Amy (ODIO_OPERA). I'm 24 years old and I've been with ediets since July 1st. I started at 250#s (my heaviest). So far I've lost 10 pounds, and I'm really happy with the program. I love the support I get! :oD
I'm a graduate student at a conservatory in NYC. I'm a young opera singer. It's extremely important for me to look my best, despite what the general public may think about all or most opera singers being overweight. (It's not true!!!!) My goal is to lose at least 100 pounds. Once I get closer to my goal, I'll be able to see how much farther I want to go! :oD

Update 6/3/01:
ok...as far as my weight is concerned, I floundered for a while on eDiets this year. I've gained most of what I'd lost back...but anyway...I'm back for more! lol! I just finished a performance at my school in our spring opera scenes production in may. I played the lead role (Violetta) in Act III La Traviata (Verdi). I got to die on stage (I love doing that!) lol....the funny thing was that I was supposed to be dying of consumption (TB)...which means I should have been all skinny and wasting away...oh well. I was a robust Violetta! lol! :o) -amy
