I think I had already lost about 10 pounds here but it's the closest thing I have to a "before" picture. Here's a little bit more about me.

CURRENT RESIDENCE: Camp Hill, PA
AGE: 40; June 4, 1961
HEIGHT: 5 foot 4 inches
CURRENT WEIGHT: 274.5
GOAL WEIGHT: 134 (eDiets), though at 150 I felt good & healthy and happy
LOST SO FAR?: 36.5 lbs WITH eDiets SINCE: July 18, 2001
FAMILY: Husband, John & daughter, Sabrina (2 1/2 years)
OCCUPATION: Computer Programmer
HOBBIES: billiards, reading (sci fi, horror, suspense), crafts
MY FAVORITE eDiets MEAL: green chilies & tortilla casserole, Shrimp & Tomatoes, Very Veggie Casserole
MY FOOD WEAKNESSES: pudding, ice cream and anything fatty/salty like chips.
WHY DID I JOIN eDiets?: I was worried about what I was doing to my health. This started causing anxiety attacks thinking about leaving my little girl with no mother and my husband without his best friend. Not to mention missing out on the best years of my life with the two of them. And let's not forget how difficult all these pounds are making everyday activities.
WHY DO I NEED/WANT TO LOSE WEIGHT?: Improved health and being able to participate in life instead of watching from the sidelines.
BIGGEST WEIGHT LOSS CHALLENGE: Planning ahead so healthy food will always be available so I don't fall into the Fast Food trap. And making the best choices when eating away from home.
BEST AT (in diet): Following the plan!
FAVORITE EXERCISE: Step Aerobics but not at this weight. Need to start out with something a bit easier until I get some weight off. Anybody doing Tae Bo? How is it for people with a lot of weight to lose? Too strenuous?
