Be a better player

Well I have longed wondered is there just a simple list of thing to do to win a tournament?
Well the truth is I do not still to this day answer the question. But one thing I have figured out was list of things that may help you win a tourney. But really is one deck type better than another? I would say yes but it cannot be proven as it is not fact. Then if you really look at it even though you cannot prove it some decks are just better. But I do not think that one deck is the best I have noticed the most commonly played decks are beat down and hand disruption. So those are the popular decks at least that is what I have noticed and the reason for this well a combination of a few things.
1.) beatdowns are easy to play less combos
2.) works fast and effectively
So I guess when you put these two together that is a beat down deck and hand disruption has pretty much the same reasons. I think another reason is the fact that in one place or another no one knows someone won a tourney with one of these decks and it probably was the first tourney. It was easy and cheap but that was back then. Now beatdowns have got to be the most expensive decks to make now a days. But I think slowly with all of the counters we have evolved the beatdowns are less effective because now everyone has one and it is beatdowns against one another ands that really takes away the whole point. What are you beating down another beat down.
But there are many types of decks that could be good if people put effort in to it. I mean a zombie deck could be good if you try to make it good. I mean light decks are one of my favorites. You could make any kind of deck I actually thought of a deck with all monster about 50 or so all 2000 defense of higher and with 3 labyrinth walls and some other high defective monsters and a fiber jar to back you up you could deck them kind of easy but I am surly not saying these are the best decks I am simply implying the fact that they could be. The best deck is always the deck that can beat all others and so far there is not a deck like that , but on the other hand almost everyone has beatdowns there is a good side we get to se who the better players are not who has the best deck. I found out 3 people in my tourney had the same deck and I wanted to see them duel to see who would win and it was always a different person. So maybe they were all of the same "level" but you never know.
Really though I think people should try out new decks till everyone sees what another deck type can do to another deck type. If you use another deck and loose and your old deck won then use the old deck but you should try out new decks so if you ever verse one you know the plan and that is how to make you a better player. Really what I am saying is " no your enemy and know your deck".
