Hello fellow duelists,
This is my 5th submitted tip. Most of you know me as Siphon_X, aka the warrior
king. I would just like to say how flip effects have become null in the game of
Yu-Gi-Oh! Where oh where have the cyber jars gone, oh where oh where could they
be? People seem to take out all of their flip effect monsters from their deck
for fear of cards like Exiled Force, Nobleman of Crossout, Jinzo, Sasuke
Samurai, and Ceasefire. They figure those cards are pathetic attackers and
don't deserve a spot in a deck, but i disagree. By feinting (not fainting) a
person is able to trick their opponent into believing their facedown monster is
a Black Forest Witch or Sangan. They then can unleash the wrath of their cyber,
fiber, or penguin. Flip effects remain the cards with the most powerful and
potent effects, and when used correctly can be lifesaving. Some combos to use
are:
Dice Jar and BBtD (Barrel Behind the Door): This combo is life threatening.
The only downside to this combo is that you must trigger Dice Jar's effect by
flip summon or if they play a card like SoRL to allow flip effects to be
activated. If either player rolls a 6 (a one out of three chance) then its
close to game over.
Spring of Rebirth and Penguin Soldier: Also another combo required to be
activated not whenever they attack, but you can still get a measly 500 or so if
they attack. Chances are they won't activate Imperial Order to SoR because it
has such a weak effect. Play SoR then flip a facedown Penguin to send Penguin
and one of their monsters back to their hand, then set penguin again.
Not really a combo, but have an Armed Ninja facedown whenever they activate SoRL.
And my personal favorite (and best combo with Card of Safe Return): Play CoSR,
have a Spear Cretin in your graveyard, and set a Spear Cretin. Not only is this
combo the ultimate draw power (Exodia, my fellow Egyptian friends), but it is
the IMPENATRABLE WALL! This combo might not be new, but I think that I was the
first to try this combo out (2 days after LON came out).
In conclusion, all ye who bash the cyber, fiber, spears, and penguins need to
take a closer look at them, and figure out that not only do they have good
effects, facedown monsters run shivers through your opponent's spine. Don't
underestimate the power of the jars/pods!
Don't know my email? Send all jars, hate mail, love mail, munchies and of
course, that essential criticism I need for perfection to be accomplished.
