Article on game psychology

Well I bet you have probably heard someone say the game is like 50% psychology. I do not now if this is true for everyone but I do no the less experienced of if you are not running a deck with "good cards" then you may need to "believe in the heart of the cards" But I guess when I started and I did not have many "good cards" that I believe the game was 30% mental and 20% cards and like 70% skill I do not believe that any more. But I have been hearing this stuff and thought I should do an article on it.

Well to start things off when someone says they are going to loose before they even start the duel the only reason they are saying that is so when they loose they will not be so embarrassed and they will feel like it was really no surprise. I am not saying it is good to go into the tourney like kids I know. The kid I know will go there look at your deck and be like you sucks your deck sucks. This really make me mad. There is a middle point where you can be confident but not be over-confident. That middle point along with a deck you love and is "good" will win you the tourney. This point of few is kind of like probability. Lets say you have 4 pennies and 4 nickels there is a 50/50 chance you either get a penny or a nickel so after 2 picks you "should" get one of each. But chances are you may not. I have seen very confident people loose and very unconfident people win. And also vise versa. But also there is another aspect you could be aggressive and play really tuff or a fun player who plays for fun and once again to win and be happy you must find you point on the continuum of the game. And what that is, is a point on a chart that is always moving. Right now fortunately I am moving up and if you take this advice which is pretty much "in the game of yu-gi-oh keep things balanced."
