Pegasus

Pegasus is a rich man from re-inventing duel monsters. He is looking for a way to get back his dead wife and needs all 7 millennium items to do so, so he does and will do whatever it take to get them. The story goes after his wife died he gave up painting and went to Egypt to look for a way to get her back. There he meets Shadi who tell him he most go. Then Pegasus follows him and ends up being caught and he takes out Pegasus's eye and puts in a Millennium Eye. With this he has  many powers like reading minds and with the millennium eye he can picture her but cannot touch or hug or hold her. So then he must find a way to project her image and make it come to life and with that and the Millennium items he can bring her back. He hears about Seto Kaiba and the Kaiba Corp. And then he finds out that they have the Worlds most realistic holograms and then he thinks of a way. He must take over the Kaiba Corp. While in Egypt he looks for other ways to restore his wife. He finds ancient hieroglyphs about cards that they used to play. Duel monsters where the looser goes to the Shadow realm. And he finds the three most powerful the God cards and he reproduces all of them. Then when he gets home he makes the cards and sells them pretty soon it is the top seller and one of the most popular cards games among everyone. So then he holds a tournament figuring the owners of the millennium items will show up like Yugi and Bakura and kis plan works. So he finds and duels Yugi Motou and Yugi looses. Pegasus takes Yugi's grandfathers soul for a prize leading Yugi into his tournament, say the winner gets one wish makes Yugi enter to get his grandfathers soul back.
