Greg's Review:

Hi all hope you had good Thanksgiving I did : )

Today I will write another peom:

I attacked for 3400 and my opponent played Waboku, I could have won now I am a koo-koo

Ok with that out of the way time for the last review of the week Waboku a common sdy trap. Now I really have no idea what you are thinking of this but if you have any doubts then get them out of your head because this card is actually one of my favorites and better than Magic Cylinder from my perspective.

Now if you do not understand what the effect does then it it this: pretty much when you are attacked your monster is not destroyed and you take no life point damage.  Also if you have 2 monsters with the same attack and they go head to head your opponent's dies and your lives.

Some of the reasons that this card is so good i9s the fact so many people playing Spear Dragons and Goblin and also the addition to the beatdown family Giant orc. With a Waboku it will save them at least for a turn so you can switch back Spear or Giant orc and let me tell you that works very effective. Also it is an all around good card considering is is chainable to spell and trap removal so if it is destroyed you can still activate it and get the full effect and the other pro it is a common and non- the less form a starter deck.

Pro's

easy to get

effective

chainable

Con's

Non really

The reason I gave it no cons is because there are no set backs what so ever it does a great job doing what it does. So for one turn non of your monsters can be destroyed in battle and you take no life point damage and it is chainable.  This is why I think this is better than Magic Cylinder I think MC should have been the common and this the Ultra rare whoa that would be cool lol

Spirit Reaper's Review:

Friday
Waboku

I am surprised this card doesn't see a lot of tournament action.  All in all it
is a good card.  It is capable of being activated during any phase, meaning
if your opponent uses anything to destroy it, it can be activated and its full
effect will stay for the entire turn.  It is 100 times more effective than
Negate Attack, because negate attack must be activated to counter an attack.  A
good Waboku combo is to activate Waboku during your own battle phase, then
attack an opponents monster that has the same attack as your own.  I'm not sure
why, but by Upperdeck's ruling, your opponents monster would be destroyed
instead of both monsters.  Strange but true.  If you find some open trap slots
in
your deck and you are struggling to find a certain rare trap, throw in Waboku,
it will never fail you.
