Greg's Review: Intro: " I negate everything hahahahahah" Ok this is a really neat card I think it is one of the top 5 in the set it has so many possibilities. I mean when you talk versatile this is one of the most for that matter. I mean from negating a Goblin from switching to defense mode or just plain old stopping a Jinzo this is one card that could be dangerous in a beatdown with 2-3 Goblins. This card is just so great. I mean attack with yata you can draw Jinzo I can use traps, Goblin I do not switch anymore. This can really help you. So what does it do well if you did not know it does what the effect says it does. But if you are new and you do not understand exactly what it does it stops pretty much all effects. For example if this is activated before a Jinzo is summoned or on the felid then you can still use traps if this is on the field than Goblin Attack force and Spear Dragon loose their effect meaning spear does not switch and does not get the trample effect and as for Goblin he does not switch. Ok how should you use this : Well really anyway you want you can throw it into any deck, I am not saying it is a staple because it is not but it would never hurt your deck if you have room for it. So I guess in a strait beatdown deck with 2-3 Goblins then you can use this from keep it from switching and keep on hitting or when you have this set and you are about to get hit with Don or Yata flip it and all you are taking is the damage no effect. Or before a Jinzo is summon activate it and then KABOOM Jinzo no longer negates this trap. But there is something that I have to explain with this and Jinzo. This has to be activated before Jinzo is on the field in order for Jinzo's effect to be negated. So if this is on the field before Jinzo is then Jinzo no longer negates traps. And lets not forget about monsters with very annoying effects that can now be negated like Jairo Gumo and Dark Elf and whatever. Pro's Negates monsters effects Con's negates you monsters too have to pay 1000 lp with lots of m/t removal this will not last long Ok as for the Pro's it negates monsters effects like I already said. Now for the Con's, Yes it negates you monsters effects too which could be a Con or a Pro depending on what you are using it for, for ie: Goblins DEF switch is negated so it stays in ATK mode. Or it could be bad when you want to use you Jinzo or something but you never know if this card is going to be on your side of the field or their side of the field. Also with some playing 3 mst and HFD and Heavy storm this thing will not stay long if it is up to your opponent. Also the 1000 lp could be a heavy cost when you are low or just do not have enough to pay. Overall: this is a good card but is not a staple and does not belong in every deck, especially if you play lots of effect monsters like tribe and yata which a lot of people do. So if you feel you find yourself in a situation when you wish you could negate a monsters effect then play it it is a little above average in the right deck, in the wrong deck this is going to hurt you more than help you so be careful with it and always have a MST to kill it when you need to. Spirit Reaper's Review: DCR-049
Alright, lets take a
really close look at this card. The effect sounds great when you first
look at it, but think about it, what effect monsters do you see that get a
LOT of play that will usually be put face up? Lets see; Exiled Force,
Tribe Infecting Virus, Yata-Garasu, Sasuke Samurai, Spear Dragon, Dark
Ruler Ha Des, Breaker the Magical Warrior, Marauding Captain, Don Zaloog,
and many many more. Just for the record, this doesn't stop Jinzo's effect
(duh). Not only does this card keep your opponents monsters from getting
effects, but it also stops you from using your monsters effects. Is that
a bad thing? Not all the time. Let me explain. Lets say you have Skill
Drain on the field, then you summon Goblin Attack Force. Skill Drain
would negate Goblin's reversing effect, meaning you have a 2300 4 star
attacker on your side of the field that doesn't have to be put into
defense when it attacks. Pretty cool huh? Yea, its a nice card to has a
large number of combos, but there are a lot of decks that it doesn't have
any effect on, such as your basic beatdown that runs very few effect
monsters (mostly flips). Not a bad card, but not a great card.
