Mystic Tomato |

When this card is sent
to the Graveyard as a result of battle, you may select 1 DARK
monster with an attack of 1500 or less from your deck and Special
Summon it to the field face up in a Attack Position (no tribute is
required for a monster level 5 or more). The deck is then shuffled.

Greg's Review: Intro: " I can bring out some good cards" Well hi all and I hope you had a good MTKD AKA Martian Luther King Day!!! Well at least there was no school. And this weeks cards will mainly be Searching week, so what I did is take some popular searchers and make them the cards. I think some have gotten better and others are not as good as they used to be. And now on to today's review: Mystic Tomato: Well this card was never that popular here, mainly the
place you would see it was in an exodia deck for the fact of speed card
advantage and the possibilities of getting a Witch or Sangan to get an
exodia piece. Then in July with the release of Don Zaloog this started to
see some play in serious tourney decks even outside of an Exodia deck
it was playable and quite good I shall say. Some played it and others hated
it. But then in August when the World Champion played 3 of these it
increased it's popularity quite a bit. It even made me try 3 of these and it
worked for me ( I side deck them for depending on who Well it is good because it can get out: Witch Sangan another Tomatoes Don Zaloog Spirit Reaper Pro's easy to get (TP4 common) (MRL rare) good to get out most popular cards SPEED Summons to the field not hand (could be both a con and pro) Con's cannot get out a lot of other popular stuff but it is still great non-the less. has to be killed in battle lots of stuff to get rid of this ( exiled D.D warrior lady, NOC lots more) Overall: Well if you play witch sangan or Don need some speed to get them out need card advantage then this is for you, finding 3 cards to take out can also be hard but the sacrifice will be worth it when you get out what you need when you need it. If it is not killed via a monster than it sucks and was a waste but not every card is the best Draft: 3 Tourney: 3.5/5 Casual: 4.2/5 Japan: ( nick sry I took your idea :-) 4.1/5

Nick's Review: Personally I
don't see the big deal with this card. Sure you can get Don which most
people get with it. The only real deck it belongs in is in a Exodia deck
because it can get witch and sangan. The downsides are that it is special
summoned in attack mode and it has to have <1500 atk.

Mikhail Kroik's Review: Mystic Tomato
This card is good if you have low attack monsters you
want to summon with no tributes but other then that I don't like this card
since the monster must be summoned in attack that could be annoying.
But after all it's a free summon i'll give it a 2/5
since it's not good but not bad.
2/5

Wow! my first card of the day! Well any way here is my review: Well first off I think the name shouldn't have been changed from killer tomato to mystic tomato, but thats ok. I realize that the soccer moms have to win some times. OK, well, I really think this card is awesome. Period. You can get some mad speed with this Vegetable seriously. Bring out Don Daloog, cannon soldier, newdoria, ALL of the dark scorpions except for gorg, etc. This tomato is red, and when it is dead, bring don zaloog out with a BLAM! and there goes their hand. I give mystic tomato a well deserved: tourney: 3.8/5 casual: 4.1/5
draft: 2.9/5
(not very good unless you draft a don zaloog or something like that) |

Robert's Review:
Pros:
-Adds speed to almost any deck...
-Gives monster advantage...(In ways)
-Dark...
-Thins deck out...
-Self Summon able...
-Get's under Messenger Of Peace...
Cons:
-It's effect requires it to destroyed in battle...
-It summons monster's in attack mode...
-Doesn't get under gravity bind...
-Easy to get rid of with NoC or any mon. removal...
-Thins deck out... (It can be bad, It can be good, deck
out... But rarely happens...)
Hey this is my first card of the day... So be nice to
me... Okay... I guess this is a good card to review... Mystic Tomato... I
run a yata-lock deck... And currently I have 1 in my deck and 1 in my side
deck... It works really good... I mean in decks for just dark monster's it
works best... But in decks with many dark mons. like mine, it works
well... I think that if u actually get it's effect off, u might be able to
summon more beasty mons. to kill ur opponent... But before u reserve slots
in ur deck, look at the down-sides... This cards effect only happens when
it's destroyed in battle... This mons. can eaisily be destroyed by many
mons. removal card... Plus this card can really thin out ur deck... Overall,
this card... Since I run it, I have to give it a 3/5... It can be very
effective it u get the effect off... Well that's it for today...
So thanx for reading... Peace...
3/5
