Greg's Review: Not to many people I know really play this any more but it was and still is an ok cards. Returning 2 monsters to the hand may not seem like much but I have been in situations when this thing has just totally screwed me over. I man when a sac monster like Jinzo or Vamp attacks this then it get returns to their hand they could be in some trouble. A really good card when you need to get an open attack or just clear the field. Allot of the problem today is there is just no room in most tourney decks with all of the other monsters we play now from the last few sets. So if you are playing this there might be a better choice but it is certainly not bad at all. Pro's easy to get works well stalls Con's we have better cards now Overall: it is not that I think this is a bad card it is just that I think with all of the other monsters this thing is a bit outdated IMO. But it is still a good choice to play if you do not have nothing better. I guess you just got to watch out for card w/ trample and also NOC (noble man of cross-out) 3/5

Spirit Reaper's Review: Penguin Soldier
This is one of those
cards I really liked, but never played. I remember when this came out
people went INSANE for it. In my area, it was much more popular that
Graceful Charity (go figure). To think about it, I'm still kind of fond
of the little soldier. The downside is that everywhere I go people are
running anti-effect decks such as Ha-Des and the Archfiends. Not to
mention Nobleman of Crossout and Sasuki Samurai. If there wasn't so much
effect negation, I'de love it. But, due to circumstance, I gotta give it
a low score.
Casual
3/5 (still popular is
beginner decks)

Chaos Emperor Dragon's Review:
Ah yes, Penguin Soldier. This card is great. Great in
almost any deck. Except flip-effects are now a bit over-rated. I'd rather
use this monster than Man-eater cuz 2 is better than 1, right? Returning 2
monsters and getting them off the field is better than destroying 1 monster.
This card blows away soo much. This card should be played more often in my
opinion, but people can't find the space to put it into most decks. Actually
once I think about it the flip-effects are playable again. Most people play
one Nobleman of Crossout now and no ceasefire. The major problem is change
of heart, but that's always a problem. So Go for it. Play the card. Have
some fun with it... |
