Dark/Fiend/8/2200/2800/Effect
This card can only be Special Summoned by removing 3 Fiend-Type monsters in your Graveyard from play. When this card is destroyed in battle or by your opponent's card effect, it is treated as an Equip Magic Card at the end of the turn. Equip 1 of your opponent's monsters with this card. As long as it is equipped with this card, you control the equipped monster.

Not to make you guys think any less of this card it is just I don't like it at all. I mean even in a fiend deck I don't like it for someone reason it is just too much work to get a stupid effect. I mean this is just my opinion. From what I have seen it is a waste and I don't card what you tell me either. Ok you have to remove 3 monster and not just any type has to feinds. I am not saying it is hard to get out but seriously you have to find a way (not that terribly difficult)  Then remove them from play to get out this monster. Ok when it dies it takes control of another monster. This is really not that hard to avoid if you do it when you have no monsters on the field. I don't think many creatures these day can beat 2800 that I see played often. So really unless you are dumb then they won't get their effect kill it via Riageki or better yet dark hole but when you use the riageki make sure there is no monsters on your side of the field. I mean then again it is really not that bad if you think about it. If you are p[laying 100% feind this is ok to run but IMO summon skull is better. But the thing is this is so easy to get out it really is all you really go to do is use painful choose get all feinds or at least 4 and you are guaranteed to get this baby out

I have to mention this before i really start.

*On the effect of Dark Necrofear there is a catch to it.  If Dark Necrofear is treated as an Equiped Spell card, and is destroyed by an effect of your opponent, like MST, Heavy, Breaker etc..., it does come back at the end of the turn (of course only if your opponent HAS a face up monster).  Even though it is not a mosnter now, it still has the effect of when it is destroyed by your opponent effect.  If you kill the monster that it is equiped to, however, it does not come back.  And it can come back if destroyed by Horn of Heaven of Solemn Judgment because it was destroyed by your opponent's card effect.*

Dark Necrofear is usually one of the hearts of a Competative Fiend Deck.  Most of the time, fiend decks will play Painful Choice to get some food for the Necro.  And with all the fiend selectionions: Giant orc, germ, archfiend solder, kuriboh,, yata, dark ruler, and much much more, it is very easy to get it out.
The whole snatch steal thing is nice too, especially after learning the FULL effect as Seen above.  So it not a bad pick at all.  its really what i believe started fiend decks in the first place.  If you play or are planning on making a fiend deck, just play 2.  The 3 is just space consumming and if you do mannage to pull all 3 somehow out, its gonna backfire when a cyber gets hit and 9 of your monsters are gone.

Dark Necrofear

When this card came out people were fighting for it, but very few ran successful Necro decks.  Now with the archfiends, Necro is gettin his second wind.  Not to mention he was re-released as a promo, so just about everyone has one or 2 layin around somewhere.  Lets look at his stats.  2100 attack is not impressive, but then again he is easy to summon.  So if you have nothing in ur hand and 3 fiends in the graveyard, you got a free 2100 on the field.  2800 defence is great, but no ones gonna attack it due to its effect.  Now onto the effect.  If it gets killed in battle, you get a free Snatch Steal.  Think about it, to kill Necro, they have to have something with an attack at least 2100 which means u get to steal ur opponents high attack monster.  The only logical combos I can come up with are Painful Choice to get some fiends in the graveyard, and if you feel like running it, you can throw is some Sword and Shield's.  That should make for a nice surprise.

  • Not a fun time when going against the 3 Major Jar’s

As a person who is who plays a fiend deck myself.  I find it sort of uncanny that my say would mean just a hint bit more since I know the card.  My deck is all fiends except the mandatory ones that must be in my deck this card to me is really a card that is just there to scare the other person from attacking it.  When the Dark Ruler of hades and Dark necrofear they are basically unstoppable.
