Greg's Review:
Intro:
flip me up
flip me down
Return your cards to your hand........
Well I for one find this card very interesting I mean
at first I did not like it then I played it or a week or two and now I just
really think it is as average as possible in many decks I play or play
against. This should not even be considered in decks now with Vampire lord
but about 5 months ago when Airknight was in I was debating whether or not
to take Airknight out for this. So for about 3 weeks I played it and lost
because of it I hate it in my deck or in many Hand disruption decks I Think
it is slow. And as for a beatdown deck this should not even be in your
side deck IMO. This is not something I would consider playing or tell anyone
else to play. Ok but if you are drafting or something from PGD this is
playable and maybe in control decks.
Pro's
I mean it is ok. You summon it flip it in your main
phase and then re-flip it in main phase 2. But the bad thing is that you
have to flip it, it is not a flip effect and that is just a con. You could
clear the field but if that is your purpose then I do not recommend this to
you at all.
Con's
OMG it is a tribute monster making it even less
playable
Noble man of crossout ownz this card
If you opponent attacks it no effect
Ok
Tourney :2/5 - ok in some decks here
Casual :3.3/5- better here IMO
Draft: 4.7/5- not a bad draft high attack monsters
are hard to come across.
3/5

Knocked-out's Review:
Guardian Sphinx
Positives (+)
Returns all of the monsters
Not bad at all for defense =2400
Re-flipable
Negatives (-)
Ultra Rare
Tribute
1700 Attack
Crossout and Sasuke bait
Not one of the worst but at the same time not one of the best monsters in
the game. Looking at his stats 1700 atk isnt gonna do much when most beat
down decks have a range of monsters usually 1800- 2300 atk. But what it
lacks on offence gives it the edge on defence. 2400 defence can withstand a
Jinzo. Dark Ruler can kill it still, but Dark Ruler has been seeing less
play in my area, unless you have a fiend deck, which is a different story
there.
His effect is nice. It's not a flip effect, so if for some reason you do
have copies of this in your deck, at least Crossout won't remove 'em all.
So it can also go against Royal Command, but who plays that. After you
return all there monsters, just throw him back face down, safe from Snatch,
RoD, Fissure, and all those other Face up monster killer cards.
He works best in a stall deck, or a deck that you want control of the
field. You could try him in an Earth based deck, but don't use Gaia Power
then. It will just drain his defence.
One tip for this. If you are versing this, attack it if it is face down.
Then the flip wont get off and you wont be fieldless. At most, it will just
cost you between 1000-100 life points to attack it face down, more if you
have to attack with a weaker monster, or for nothing if you do it with the J
man, Jinzo.
Casual: 3/5
Tourney: 2.9/5 (defence decks, IMO, don't do THAT well in tourneys,
unless Hand D. cus they eventually go onto attack and kick all other decks'
asses) ;-)
Draft: 4.2/5 (for the defence and effect of course)
Peace out, sightnin out, Knocked_out
