Greg's Review: This is a definite upgrade on the old and obsolete Shadow Ghoul. At one time or another everyone played him but we all new he sucked. I guess this ain't too bad all considering. With Painful and stuff you could make an ok deck around him but is it worth it. For all of the trouble to get 10 monsters in the grave you could have summon a Blue Eyes white dragon onto the field in that time. I also think that there is another reason for it that I don't like it and that is the simple fact that there are must better cards. I think it is quite a wasteful card to run. I mean if you draw it or top-deck it and you do not have more than 6-10 monsters in the graveyard it ain't that good. In casual I would say it is a little more playable but really in casual play it don't matter...... Draft is not that bad but I wouldn't draft it Tourney: 1/5 Casual 2.0/5 Draft 1.9/5 Limited: 1/5...... I really don't like this.

Earl's Review:
WOW!!! Talk about
a Shadow Ghoul upgrade. Level 1 means it's able to get around G Bind, not to
mention that it'll be able to be Equipped with some new card coming out in
the next set. I forget the name, but it Equips to only Level 1 monsters. The
"300 for every monster in your Graveyard" is very good. Also, it's a 0/0
instead of a ?/?, meaning it's Witch-able, Sangan-able, and Tomato-able. A
good way for monsters in the Graveyard would be The Cheerful Coffin and
Painful Choice. Graceful Charity is another good way.

Spirit Reaper's Review:
Friday
Chaos Necromancer
Can someone say Shadow
Goul ripoff? Well, this is actually better than SG, but it still relies
on the chance of how many cards are in your graveyard. Put it this way,
if you get this card in your first hand, it is completely worthless. If
you get it end game where there might be 10 monsters in your graveyard,
then you have a very powerful monster. I guess you could combo it with a
few things like Painful Choice, but it isn't worth building a deck around.
Casual 3.5/5
Tourny 2/5
