Fusion Richie
PGD-031-Ultra Rare Dark/Zombie/7/2600/2900 Effect: This card can
only be Special Summoned from your hand or Deck by offering 1 "Great
Dezard" that has fulfilled the condition as a Tribute. You can flip this
card into face-down Defense Position once per turn during your Main Phase.
As long as this monster remains face-up on the field, negate the activation
and effects of all Magic or Trap Cards that specifically designate this
card as a target and destroy them. When this card is flipped face-up, you
can Special Summon 1 Zombie-Type monster from your Graveyard in face-up
Attack or Defense position.
Greg's review :
Well to be honest when the set pgd came out I bought a box and of course pulled Don zuloog and ring of destruction but I also got one of these and a couple of sprit reapers. So I figured if I trade for a few things and add some cards in I could make a zombie deck. I was interested in doing that so that is what I did. I put about 50 bucks to bye another one of these guys and a great dezard and I made a deck. The deck lost to a starter deck. It sucked. It was horrible and it just did not have any offensive monsters. Like have you ever noticed that decks are supposed to do something to win I do not know how you expect to win when the only good zombie in the game is sprit reaper.
So what this card does is it has an effect that will let you special summon a zombie monster on the field when it is flipped up. And also negates anything that targets it specifically. (torrential tribute will not work either will dark hole and all of the rest) But the fact is it is not worth it zombies suck and there is no zombie deck that is worthy to win a tourney I mean yeah they can be fun but you will have to wait for a future set with more zombies if there were more offensive zombies then a deck like this may be worht it but not untill then this thing gets a 2/5.
Alex's review
I will never understand how this card got Ultra Rare status. It has a poor
attack (for the hell you have to go through to summon it), it has a decent
defence (like it matters anyway), and it is begging to be hit with Nobleman of
Crossout. Yea, the recursion effect is good, but America has yet to see the
ultimate in zombie monsters... Vampire Lord. Running a zombie deck isn't a
great
idea at the moment, especially with monsters like Fushion Richie running
around. Never use this monster, never.
