Well I went to a tournament today and one 2nd. But that is not the point the point is this is what I got in the packs for winning.
So what we have here is a 2400/1900 monster
one sac. Ok it can't take on a jinzo but it can suicide it. Not like anyone
would be playing that for that reason but rather it's effect. So despite
what I thought and many others miss took the effect of Chaos command
soldier.
What it really does is when targeted by an effect monster (one that only
targets this and nothing else) What happens is it negates it. When
I first saw it online I was like whoa this thing cannot be attacked I am playing
it but then I found out that it can be attacked and what I miss took for a
spirit reaper I found out what the effect meant was that when an effect monster
specifically designates this card as a target it is negated. So in other
words if you are confused what it does is when someone uses a penguin solider,
man eater, Exiled force, or any other monster that targets this
thing that is negated so in other words what would happen in the scenario where
you attack with this and you hit a penguin then this cannot be returned and if
it were a man eater bug you ran in to then this thing would be safe from being
destroyed. If it had the original effect I thought it had meaning a monster
could not attack this this thing would be really cool but oh well.
So what are some of the pro's and the cons of the card?
Well to start out with the pro's of the card it is only one tribute that being one of the the only good things about it but the thing I think is the best is the fact the attribute of the card is it is a light type monster. And as some of you in my school/tourney may no I have two main play decks and one of them is a light deck and I love light decks and this thing adds allot. I mean there is not allot of high powered one tribute monster that are of the light type out there. I mean one of the highest attack monsters in the game is the blue eyes white dragon and that is a light monster and that is also more than one tribute. For my light deck I will run two of these not for the effect but for the fact it is light.
Another pro is the fact it has the effect although the effect is not all that helpful because of the fact that no one uses allot of targeted effects that target monsters that are monsters I mean the only card I think of or see at a tourney is exiled force so what it cannot be exiled forced but this is turning into a con but the point is it has an effect and if it ever comes down to it when your opponent is dumb enough to use exiled force it is negated but I doubt that will happen or you will even be plying this monster unless you have a light or a spell caster deck
Well the cons are it has an effect that will never help you lol.
So in conclusion this card is good and all I think the fact that this thing is a light monster makes me not want to bash it. The fact a card has a bad effect is better than not having an effect at all so look on the light side (ha ha it is a light monster) the thing has an effect that may help you but the fact is why would you play it at all unless you have a spell caster or light deck? I am trying not to give this thing more than it deserves because it is light but oh well I give it a 3.5/5 good in only certain deck types. It might be good to side deck in case your opponent plays allot of flip effect like man eaters and stuff.
