BAKURA'S  LAIR'S 100th day

Well hello all this is Greg Devine creator of the site you are on right now.  It is kind of weird how it all started. I had no intention of a Yu-gi-oh site. Actually I was interested in learning more programming languages to write games and stuff. I had just this April got into Yu-gi-oh. I knew plenty about the game but was severely rusty and I decided to start playing again this April. So it was July 12th 2003 at bout nine o'clock pm (eastern standard) to be exact. So I was on my pc surfing the web and I was on pojo and playing yu-gi-oh on line with that yvd thing or whatever it is called I do not know the official name it has, but it is that yu-gi-oh online stuff where you make a deck and duel online.

So I am online and I had also previously designed a website about skateboarding. So that was getting old and very few hits so I stopped updating it. So anyways I went to angelfire.com the web server you are currently viewing this page from and I signed up for a fresh new account. And I thought of what I wanted to do I was bored that night and I really wanted not to make another skateboarding site, so I came up with this site a yu-gi-oh site.

I named it Bakura's Lair although he is not my very favorite character on the show (Kaiba is) I named it this because all of the other good names were taken. But now I love the name. So I made cards of the day and some other stuff and one thing led to another thing and so on and so fourth until I came up with this. It took a lot of hours hard work and effort not to mention everyone that has helped me my crew my dad a little and just friends in my school's support to keep the site going. It is no pojo with 1,000's of hits a day but rather a site with very few hits compared to pojo. I reset the counter every 2-weeks and I got around 700 hits in 2 weeks (that is average). Although it is nothing to gloat and brag about it, it is an accomplishment that I am quite proud of. It shows what dedication and effort can bring I am happy to be the owner of a future pojo all I need is your support and your help, and we can make it just as good. So I will do another article on the 200th day which falls in February 9th 2004 so I will make another then. Till now this is Greg Devine the creator of Bakura's Lair.
