NOV.01/04 - So if you haven't noticed, Hitch has broken up. It was a good 6 months though. There is a new band forming! We are called "adam.". Jordan on drums, Kurt and Dan on vocals and guitars, and Ryan on bass. Kurt and Dan are in Victoria right now writing songs like no other. We all plan to get together in Yellowknife in April. Contact us at adam_music@hotmail.com. APR.08/04 - We've been in YK for over a week now. I don't think we've even seen each other since we've been here. We're all working or trying to find work right now. We're still planning on jamming this summer so maybe we'll get a couple more songs on this piece. lata niks. Check the journals page cuz maybe somebody here added one. Goodnite, farewell, God bless, "F" You... FEB.24/04 - Recording is going really well. All the drum and bass tracks are finished. I think we have 8 more recording sessions. Then we start mixing and all that shit. I guess I don't know when the cd's will be done. We'll be posting news and letting ALL OF YOU know when you can get your hands on a cd. Come check out the February 28th show @ Big Fernwood. Doors @ 645PM. It's an all ager so all the kids can come out and enjoi some good music. Goodnite... FEB.3/04 - The shows page has been updated. Also, check out the JOURNAL page. Now you can read up on your favourite member! We get to actually start recording tomorrow. No more having to talk to the guy at the studio. We actually get to play our instruments now. This month should be a lot of fun. We have a lot of shows and we'll be in the studio 3 days a week for the next two months. It should be fun trying to keep up with everything. Goodnite. It's 2:52am and Kurt's naked dancing on his bed, graeme's doing the Yoga video designed for working your abs, and I just want to get some sleep. JAN.29/04 - We're in the studio now recording. JAN.23/04 - We've been super busy! Our first show is tomorrow nite. Whoooo Hoooo!!! I'm excited. Come check it out. It's at the Gary Oak Room (1335 Thurlow). We have a bunch of shows getting lined up. We're always down for playing a show, so if you're looking for a band to help fill your bill, give us an email or a telephone call. We're going to be playing in Maple Ridge, BC (I don't know where that is) with Harmless Heros, Tim, and The Johnsons. That should be a really fun show. We went to the studio today and met with the engineer. He was a super wierd guy... He had this lazy eye problem and when he would talk to you his head would be tipped down but he'd look up at you. It was sorta freaky. I'm okay though. I just ate some fries and I felt better. JAN.15/04 - It's been a while since we've m'd. But we're all back now, and had our first jam last night. It was fucking sweet, we brought out some old Skuzbucket tunes for the show on the 24th. So what's new? Well, we may be getting a roommate due to financial instabilities, but it's a girl BLAGHK. Brad's coming down from YK in Feb. Should be random. STARLA I LOVE YOU!(kurt) We ate too much rice tonight and now our stomachs' hurt, but it was cheap food man! Nothing... DEC.13/03 - Check out the MP3'S page... We recorded with our good friend Danny P. a couple weeks ago. I was bored today so I mixed it and put it up on the site. I found $3.00 lying around the apartment today so it looks like I'll be able to get my ass to the airport so I can get home for Christmas. F Yeah!!! Checkout the song. It's called "Dear Mom"... DEC.11/03 - Kurt and Graeme are back in YK now and I'll be leaving in a few days to have some family fun over the Christmas holidays. We talked to Aftermath and everything is worked out for recording. We get two months in the studio starting February so that's super exciting. Once we get all the recording done we'll post how to get your hands on a cd or maybe even a t-shirt... Merry Christmas to everyone and to all the X1A crew, we'll see you soon! Peace~ NOV.30/03 - There's an update for the January 24th show. There is 5 bands playing now and the tix cost $5 so come check it out if you're around. It should be fun. If you want tickets let us know in advance cuz we think they should sell pretty fast and there's a limit on people. Graeme's gone until January so that's shitty. Graeme you're gay! We have a meeting with Aftermath on Wednesday and we start recording in March. Our website sucks but it'll get better soon I hope. "Whack Off". NOV.23/03 - We're getting all the shit figured out for the January and February shows that "the habitat" and us are putting on. Tickets will be $6 for 6 bands and 4 hours of music. It should be fun. We're working on getting a bunch of shows hooked up for February, up till summer time which is when we'll head back to tha' knife to save money for our tour in Fall '04. Tomorrow we go talk to Aftermath Records about the recording so that's super exciting. We almost finished recording the new song, "Don't Ever Let Me Down." Goodnite... Happy Sunday and tomorrow is mom's birthday I think. NOV.21/03 - We might be getting a free recording from Aftermath Records... Fuck Yeah! We won't be playing for about a month(December) but Graeme's going to record his bass for a few of the songs so Kurt and I can finish the rest of the mixing and recording. We have enuff songs to actually play a show now... YES!!! We start playing shows late January. Our first show will be January 24th at the Gary Oak Room. The Habitat might be playing with us. We're just waiting for them to confirm dates... Keep checking the page. We're gonna try and get some merch going too like pins, patches, stickers, shirts... Shit like that. Bye...
