Another year, another workout regimen. I got a membership to 24hr fitness. (I got a membership to a Rockwall gym called PlanetGranite, but switched to a different gym.) I'm working out quite regularly, probably due to my Hawaii vacation in one month and not wanting to look like an old slob compared to my cousins.

I'm skipping today's workout. I have some errands that need to be taken care of and besides, I hate lower body workouts. Yuck...

A decent run. I completed all 20 minutes, using the same running levels as on Monday. It was a really good run, I think I'll stick with these #'s until next week.

I feel sore. I guess I worked out harder than I thought yesterday. Today, I'm just gonna try for a 20 minute run. Maybe I can get back into the habit of working out.

A double workout! I ran for 20 minutes today, although I had to decrease the difficulty level. I now run at level 5, 6, 7 ,8 then repeat 4 times. My upper body workout was tiring. I think the gym is too crowded, maybe I should try to go earlier or even during lunch...

A four day break. That's how long it's been since my last workout. I'm gonna have to start over on Monday, even if its just to have something to write about here. I was doing so well too!

There's so much that's good about barbeque. There's the smokey flavor from the wood or charcoal, the rich sweetness of the sauce, the tender meat that, when done properly, does not require teeth to consume. And then the inexplicably satisfying saying, "I'll take a full slab of pork ribs to go." If you don't get it, I can't explain.

Guilt, Guilt, Guilt! This is the third day I've missed my workout. Thursday's excuse was a two pronged one; first was the fact that I had a really late lunch and so I couldn't run on a full stomach, and the second excuse was that I started up this site. Then Friday came along, and although I was planning on both running and working out to make up for thursday, I ended up playing pool with my coworkers. Hey, lab unity is important! Then today, with absolutely no excuse. oh well....

Been working hard on this site. That's my excuse for why I've been slacking off my workout schedule so much. I actually feel pretty guilty about it. Oh well... I'm comfort myself with some oreos and whole milk.
