Braves drop game to Garces

The Braves held for a half with the Ramblers, but in the end Garces took control in the contest in a 28-8 defeat for Tehachapi.

Ryan Dalmas had a solid outing in his first stint on the sophomore level, connecting on four pass plays for 34 yards overall, including a three-yard touchdown catch to Matt Santos.

Dougan Patience connected on a two point run after the touchdown to help Tehachapi tie the contest 8-8 before halftime.

Leading stats getters for the Braves included Max Clark getting 71 yards on 10 attempts and Jesse Olofson carrying the ball 11 times for 55 yards. Chris Rush had a catch for 12 yards in the game, while Santos had two catches for 12 yards.

On defense, Santos led all tacklers with seven, followed by Clint Heinzler with six tackles and Luke Papac with five tackles.
