Before Daria, there was . . . well, Beavis and Butthead. Her main purpose was to get chanted “Diarrhea-Cha-Cha-Cha!” at by the moronic duo, but she did make some great observations about their stupidity. She seemed to be more social at Highland High, her old high school, and was even on the yearbook committee and had a boyfriend. She sounded much the same as she does now, as her voice was performed by Tracy Grandstaff even then.
