Cut out about 20 little rectangles of teh tapeout. They should be as long as the tape is wide, and about 1 cm wide.
Now take the Viper apart. You are going to use the sides of the Viper that the bearing is not in. So you take that half, and you take one of the "Tape Rectangles", and you stick it so that the LONG side of the tape is right up against the whole that the bearing goes in. The piece of tape, but should look crooked, at an angle. Next, you are going to do the same thingwith the piece of tape, but over a little bit. The pieces of tape should be overlaping... Do this all the way around. Now, there should be something with those angled starbursts, that looks like a blade! It should look like this...

Now carefully, peel the whole "blade" off, and using scissors, cut it into a regular circle, whatever size you want. Now it should look like this...
Now, stick it back in to the Viper, and now it has Starbursts. It should look like this when you are done, cutting out the circle. Now, just place the "blade" into the Viper.
These things last very long. If your viper still doesn't respond... Do the same thing to the othe rside of the yo-yo except have the tape angled the other direction. I hope somebody trys this and tells me what they think!
