HISTORICAL
DOCUMENTS OF THE CROSBY FAMILY OF
ST. GEORGE AND PANGUITCH, UTAH
The wife and children of Joshua Crosby joined the LDS Church at Portland, New York in the late 1830s, beginning with their youngest son, Jesse Wentworth Crosby. Members of the family became intimately involved in the settlement of Nauvoo, Illinois and many Utah communities including Salt Lake City, St. George and Panguitch. Ultimately Joshua joined his family in Utah almost three decades later. This site presents historical documents and essays on some of my paternal ancestors. A short history of my maternal ancestors, including the Rees, Edmunds and Lamb families of Wales, Utah is also included.
The table below provides links to biographical essays and/or historical documents relating to each individual ancestor. Select the link by clicking on the designated material in the right hand column.
