Many fans of the show debate whether ZIM or Dib will win the war. Call me a cynic, and I’ll agree with you. But I’m going with the theory that they wind up destroying one another, along with half of the rest of the world, and Gaz prevails.
She really could care less what happens around her, so long as it doesn’t interfere with whatever she happens to be doing at the time. In fact, her handheld video game is really all she cares much about. In one episode, ZIM replaces one of her organs with it and she continues working her way through level after level.
She’s got a kind of quasi-goth-ish thing going and really does remind me of Andrea, now that I think about it. The moment I decided she was a member of the “Best character EVER” Club was when she spent a whole episode tracking her brother down to make him pay for eating her piece of pizza. And I found her drawing in “The Wettening” to be rather humorous, as well.
It’s good to see the Daria spirit so strong in one so (presumably) young.
