The Wonder that is Mainecoon!
(Remember, folks, I "published" her here before she was famous!)

Fanfics in Alphabetical Order

A Place Called Home (Darkwing Duck; at ToasterOven.com) Megavolt encounters Hazel, one of the most interesting and mysterious characters ever created.
Assured of Reassurance An essay about forum wars.
Copyrat (Darkwing Duck) Miss Coon has outdone herself yet again. And if you're still thinking of skipping it, here's the teaser to end all teasers: "Still trying to absorb the fact that he had just apparently become the father of Megavolt's children, Negaduck asked the only question that seemed logical at the time."
Hazel Watching... A poem based on APCH.
Moonshowers (DWD) Another lovely fic staring Megsy. This one introduces his cousin, Mina.
Remebering Alice (Darkwing Duck) A very touching story introducing the infamous Alice Marten.
Remembering Alice II: Karaoke Night (Darkwing Duck) A fun read. It gets a little goofy after a while, but goofy is good.
Remembering Alice III: A Christmas Gift (Darkwing Duck; at AL) Lots of angst. Lots and lots of wonderfully written angst. Wait until one night when no one else is in the house and keep a box of tissues right by your side.
Requiem for the Monsignor (The Great Mouse Detective; at AL) Very nice point and a wonderful new character
Snoopy Come Home (Peanuts; at AL) Hazel returns to pay homage to Charles Shultz
So Long, Kid (Calvin and Hobbes; on AL) Oh. My. Gosh. I wasn't really old enough to truly appreciate the comic strip, but I can empathize with her. Oh, gosh. Oh, gosh.

"A listing of pictures...and stuff..."
Anything in quotes (basically everything in this section) is straight from a letter she sent me.

"'Drama Runs in the Family' Starring Megavolt and his cousin Mina. Mina's costume is slightly different than the description in the story. Personally, I like this one better."
"Alice Marten before she became the smart-aleky pine martin of the 'Remembering Alice' trilogy. Alice started as an RPG character who I played in AOL chat rooms. After I stopped having time to continue her that way, I made her into Alice Marten, the infamous scemestress of St. Canard."
"Alice Marten as the Dark Angel with Negaduck. This was my first attempt at drawing Negs. Also, don't ask me why Alice has blue in her hair. I have no idea what possessed me to do that." Dear, the blue looks lovely. That was a first attempt?!
"Alice and Megs in an illustration from the first story. This is what Alice's dress is supposed to look like. You can see why it's a bit difficult to do that on a silly little Paintbrush program."
"Movie poster design for "Karaoke Night. Chibi Nega Alice! ha ha...this one was fun to draw."
"Ampera - one of the clones in 'Copyrat'. I drew this long before I got the idea to write 'Copyrat'. This drawing is what started the Almighty Screws turning!"
"The Dark Angel in flight...and in color! You see how much better this looks on paper? The fax scanner does simply atrocious things to my art!" I second that.
"Megavolt and his cousin...a.k.a. Drawing - a cure for insomnia that does not work! I finished this at around 4:30 in the morning...a half-hour before I had to get ready for school!!"

Psst! If you want to contact the author of these fantastic tales - the genius behind Alice Marten, Mina Sputterspark, Hazel Alley, and all of the others - email her here!
