My Friend In Heaven
God gives us many paths to cross,
Many folks we pass along the way.
Some in our lives for just a moment,
Others touch our lives each day.
You came into my life a stranger,
But soon we became best friends.
We laughed, we cried, we talked for hours
As if life could never end.
But soon God took you back to him,
And I miss you every day.
But I know you're happy up in heaven,
And just a prayer away.
