in July 2000. Israel is situated on Mediterranean Sea, surrounded by Egypt, Syria
, Jordan, Lebanon. Jerusalem is the capital. Israel is a young country, small in size, but with a widely
varied landscape and a culturally active, heterogeneous population of justover 5 million. It is a place
where East meets West; where past and present touch; and where ideologies mold lifestyles. Hibru is the
language of Israel, but people understand and speak English. As Israel is a predominantly Jewish country,
the working week is quite different to the other countries. The official working week is Sunday-Thursday

It is a holy city for Christian, Jewish and Muslim. The Old City is divided into
