Josh Smeltzer (1996-1998)
TE/DE, 6' 4", 235 lbs
Had a sterling year in 1998. Received ALL STATE HONORS as a result. Caught the winning TD in playoff game with Lee High. A master of blocked punts and passes. His tip in Grundy overtime lead to interception that sealed the BLUE'S win. Completed his final year of eligibility with the eventual 4A State Champion Stratford Knights(SC). Caught a 39 yard TD pass with 19 seconds to go to give Stratford the come from behind win in the state semifinals. Signed to play at UVA-Wise.
