THE POINTMEN

Larry Grindstaff

To quote the October 18th Bluefield Daily Telegraph, "Halfback Jimmy Grindstaff scored five touchdowns and a pair of two point conversions Friday night to lead the Blue Tornado to an easy 48-7 win over Lebanon at Richlands". Grindstaff scored on runs of 49, 30, 30, 25, and 3 yards. The two two-point conversions can via the rush and a EP strike from quarterback, Freddie Campbell.

Brannon Breeding

The reigning POINTMAN was crowned during that wonderful CHAMPIONSHIP season of 1992. Brannon Breeding amassed 156 points during the regular season and another 3 TDs during the playoff run. He did it all--through the air and on the ground. In addition to his 24 rushing touchdowns, Breeding added two more through the air on scoring strikes of 30 and 11 yards from quarterback, Terry Monk.

Brent Charles

Richlands has always been associated with the RUN, but on one record breaking night in 1994 Brent Charles established a scoring record via the pass that may never be broken. Against Lee High, Charles hooked up with Steven Dye for scoring strikes of 31, 11, 11 and 6 yards for a 24 reception points for the game.
