In October 2003, Paul and Barbara and Leon purchased fifteen ewes and three rams from Spring Rim Farm of Wisconsin. We have always been impressed by the massive bodies of the Black's sheep and the substantial influence of excellent production-orientated genetics from Australia in the flock.
Our first public sale of our new Spring Rim Farm genetics went well. The late fall ewe lamb in the 2005 Ohio Dorset Sale placed fifth in a large class and sold for $500.
