Pegacorn Facts
- A pegacorn is a cross between a unicorn and a Pegasus. This cross was created so frequently that they started a new breed, which is now known as the pegacorn.
- Your pegacorns can age as often as you like, providing they don’t stay the same age for more than a year.
- Pegacorns eat different food from horses. They have different types of food for different times of day, hay with special ingredients, milk that’s made with a moonbeam base, and fruits of all sorts. It’s important for your pegacorn to have a balanced diet. Vitamins are also available. You can’t enter an ill pegacorn in any special events, and if your mare is malnourished or sick, chances are, her foals will be too.
- Pegacorns come in all sorts of colors. You’ll find anything from a basic chocolate brown, to a stunning silver and blue, not to mention everything in between.
- All pegacorns have a set of feathery wings and a horn, also known as an alicorn.
- Pegacorns compete in several ‘horse’ sports, as well as some sports that exist only to pegacorns, such as “messenger races” and “high jumps”. Many of these sports involve flying.
- Pegacorns usually are born live, although it’s not uncommon to have an egg-laying pegacorn.
- In the world of Fantasy Forever there are diseases and illnesses that your pegacorn might need curing of. Some of these are easy to cure, often something from the potions shop is all they need. Other times it’s much more difficult, and a vet needs to be consulted. While most are not life threatening, others are. Please be realistic when dealing with these. Your pegacorn can’t always be magically cured.
- Your pegacorns need your individual attention, so don’t keep more than you can handle. If you end up with more than the limit, you will be forced to find new homes for them within a week. You can do this by selling them to other members or putting them into the humane society. We recommend the first option over the second. Our humane societies are in excellent condition, but chances are your pegacorn will be there longer, as it’s more difficult to find owners that way.
