Come upon me, look indeed and see
am I what you want him to be?

You who look at the world through tinted glasses
see not details, no flaw but rose-colored masses.
You do not know what you don't see;
if ignorant you are, can happy you be?
Black and white, you see the world outside
and amidst life's problems, unaware you glide
but hit, through you know not, and plaguéd by
those problems, your blindness to defy.

Ignorance then, be not bliss but curse
and if pain come from blindness, worse
is not far behind.  Do you now see
you must not glasses don?  We
do not lie, we who love and care for you.
Unlike your maker, we will not give you leave to do
as you might wish.

Stand still now, and let us relieve you of
the reason for your paon; it is not from above
but of your doing.  I wish for you reality.
Perhaps it's not what you want life to be,
but if the flaws and holes in life you see,
the pain and love they cause will set you free.
