The front entrance or arcade is probably the main source of curb appeal for this house. Those attractive arches behind the overgrown shrubs are certainly what first intrigued us enough to even take a look at the house. | |||
 Aside from a fresh coat of paint on the walls, windows, and floor, there was not much work required here. The biggest job was replacing the rotted wood on the overhanging eaves.

 Our perennial residents of the front porch are a family of chimney swifts that build their nest on our pendant porch light.
