"A Plague Of Pestilence"
Downright cold, around the night bold
Seemingly real but fake as one may get
Silent but outspoken in the actions let
Out by the dawn’s water is the reverie
That you couldn’t just settle for last and least
Bothersome somebody bothers me
Annoyance ants annoy my plea
Harassment meant harassing free
A plague of pestilence results in these
Sunny caged gorillas sing of what one may bring
To the zoo at the South Pole at the brink of spring
Bananas, apples, any meat at all would do
Garbage, left over potatoes, even worse – stew
Left to chew my arm to bits
Think of life as it cleverly fits
Don’t try to toe the line for a minute
Once you dabble in the swamp, you’re gonna live in it
Knees, fingers, two, ten, eyes, toes, two, ten
Wrists, ankles, watch holders, the time is
Appropriately enough, time for abstinence
Scaring the youth with its own plague of pestilence
