"Death Swing"
Never planned on doing a thing like this
Always been the wimp and it’s obvious
The feeling’s back and I’m apprehensive
And I couldn’t be any more nervous
Strapped in for safety
Harness is lifted, pull the string
Once they pull you
To the top of the death swing
Riding the air as if I never cared
Pure exhilaration, I could swear
As you laughed at me as my wedgie
Dug deep and I tried hard not to pee
Pulled to the height of a telephone pole
I wondered if I got to keep my soul
In the middle of the ride that I was on
I could have chickened out but I was wrong
It was exciting and an amazing EXPERIENCE
I’m not lying to you, I’m honestly SERIOUS
50 miles per hour through the air
There I was, without a care
