"Easy From Behind"
Downtown, big brown building
Staring at the ceiling
Imagine a million steps to get to the top
I wished that they would stop
Journey up the staircase
No telling what I’ll find
But this venture at the base
Looked easy from behind
Passed many statues
Each holding knives
But it’s okay, I knew
They surely won’t bite
Top keeps getting closer
But it’s far from over
I’ve got enough faith
To get me straight
To the top with little to no stops
Put myself to the test
Up against the best
Even I was expecting
To see myself necking
In at place one hundred
But against coincidental odds
I kept going with no watch
I came in first place
When the world stopped
I saw everyone’s face
Looking down from the staircase
